This lake is so wonderful. Baycat Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Buck Snort Resort and Campground Cabins Tavern is a great local campground; if you need a location to stay New Concord Inn is a tremendous choice. At Baycat Lake all through the days of summer highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come       with highs in the 10's, and night lows at Baycat Lake throughout the winter ordinarily plunge into the-10's. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Minocqua, Wi; on a great day you can take a hike along the Bearskin State Park Trail. The yearly rain here at Baycat Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is February. If you come at the right time of year, Flambeau River - South                  Fork offers some great whitewater, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Newman Springs Ski Trail. There's so much to do here at Baycat Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Broken Bow Campgrounds is a glorious site for that, and you're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Great Bass Lake is one of those close by. You clearly ought to like Baycat Lake.
