Why not stop by Battine Lake if you're passing through these parts. Take a hike on the Alligator Eye Trail, and a splendid site to camp here at Battine Lake is Moosehead Lake Campground. An average amount of precipitation falls at Battine Lake; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Battine Lake, you could also visit nearby Cyrus Lake, and camping is available

Super 8 Motel - Minocqua is a magnificent location to get some rest; in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ontonagon River. Presque Isle is a great whitewater spot close to Battine Lake, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Minocqua is a brilliant choice. Having a delightful time at Battine Lake is trouble-free. The skiing at Indianhead is wonderful.
