At Bass Lake throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Bass Lake are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Americinn Lodge Ladysmith is a glorious place to get some rest, and       you can stay the night at Windfall Lake Camping. Bass Lake in fact is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. After a long day outdoors Americinn - Ladysmith, Wi is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and Bear Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. Thornapple River Campground is a delightful campground nearby; for you golfers we recommend close by Tee-A-Way Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right                  time of year, Chippewa River offers some nice whitewater, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Christie Mountain is rather near. This is a fine region for folks who like lakes. Sunfish Lake is a lake close by; there are pleasant places to look at along the Hardwood Trail. Don't leave Bass Lake without first going for a hike along the Moonridge Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Dump Lake.
