At Bass Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's; night lows at Bass Lake through the wintertime mostly descend into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Christie Mountain are so inviting noone can resist; nearby you come across the Hardwood Trail which is a great hiking trail. Why not camp       at Thornapple River Campground if you're here at Bass Lake, and Chippewa River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Bass Lake. Buff Creek is a stream that you may encounter while you're here, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Ladysmith, Wi. A lake close by is Balsam Lake, and there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Serley Camp Trail. Bass Lake gets a normal amount of                  yearly rain; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest month of the year is February. A great site to camp here at Bass Lake is Windfall Lake Camping.
