Summertime highs at Bass Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Bass Lake. A lake nearby is Saxton Lake, and a pleasant nearby hotel       is Americinn - Ladysmith, Wi. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Chippewa River in a kayak; if you need a site to stay Americinn Lodge Ladysmith is a delightful choice. You believe that's enough? Caley Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit; do take a hike on the                  Deer Fly Trail. Camping at Ward's Flambeau Resort is always a great experience, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Hardwood Trail.
