This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Christie Mountain is magnificent; a delightful close by hotel is Americinn Lodge Ladysmith. This spot is so good, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in close proximity to Bass Lake. Bass Lake is right by the Deer Fly Trail, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chippewa River.       Summertime highs at Bass Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are usually in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Bass Lake fall into the-10's. Bass Lake is a wonderful site to camp, Ward's Flambeau Resort is a wonderful site; if you need a spot to stay Paradise Shores Resort Hotel is a great choice. Caley Lake is a nearby lake that you could                  have a look at, and do take a hike on the Hardwood Trail. The Moonridge Trail offers hiking at its best. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Bass Lake; all through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. You're sure to encounter some good people from Eau Claire here.
