     The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Nordic Mountain, obviously you could also stop at Kawalski Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This is a popular location for people from Stevens Point. There's so much to do here at Bass Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Vista Royalle Campground Ltd is a perfect place for that. If you need a spot to stay Americinn - Plover, Wi is a nice choice, and Bass Lake is not the only location  
   nearby, Washburn Lake is a nearby lake. Bass Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Elizabeth Inn & Convention Center. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bass Lake has to offer, you can camp at Holiday Trav-L-Park at Vista Royalle. At Bass Lake all through the warm days of summer highs
 
               are in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's while Bass Lake night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Bass Lake rules!.

... of the Camp, the director and maintenance manager. During the summer we hire about 30 staff to run our program.

Facilities There are 27 buildings on the camp grounds. Nine cabins are used year-round and sleep about 10 people each. Nine additional cabins are available for summer use and sleep 10 people each. Our most functional and widely used building is our dining hall which can seat 175 people. Our chapel is uniquely located in the loft of a barn and can also seat 175 people. We have 3 sports fields available for games, a one acre spring-fed swimming lake, a 5 acre fishing/boating lake, a rifle and archery range, basketball/volleyball courts and 3½ miles of beautifully groomed walking and Cross-country trails.

Program Each day of summer camp we have two morning Bible sessions and an evening Bible chapel. We offer skill times for youth to enjoy archery, riflery, boating, fishing, and crafts. ... Mountain's goal is not only to have some of the best freestyle terrain in Wisconsin, but in all of the Midwest. Two glade runs offer expert skiers and boarders challenging tree skiing on some of the steepest terrain on the hill.
Realizing not everyone is willing to try skiing or snowboarding, Nordic Mountain installed the StoneRidge Tubing Park in 2006. The tubing park is over 1500ft long with over 90ft of vertical drop. If has five chutes and numerous ''rollers'' that add lots of thrills for the riders approaching speeds of up to 40mph. The best part is tubers don't have to walk back to the top of the hill. There is a specially designed lift that tows riders back to the top of the hill while sitting in their tubes. With the addition of the park, Nordic Mountain has opened up winter recreation to everyone.
In addition to the tubing park, Nordic Mountain continues to undergo many changes and improvements-one of the biggest in snowmaking.
