Man, is there plenty of amusing stuff to do right next door to Bass Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit New Wood River. There's so much to do here at Bass Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Willow's End Resort is a great site for that. The yearly rain here at       Bass Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is regularly September, that's the one that rains the most while February is typically the driest month. For the period of the summertime months at Bass Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Bass Lake. This lake is so                  wonderful. There are other sites here than Bass Lake, for example Gobler Lake, and after a long day outdoors Tomahawk Super 8 Motel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Going for a hike on the Bearskin State Park Trail is always a delightful adventure, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Merrill here.
