Bass Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; most of the rain falls during August, and February is when it's the driest. Nearby lakes? Sure, Bluegill Lake is near Bass Lake; the Bearskin State Park Trail is a great hiking trail close by. After a long day outdoors Rustic Manor Motor Lodge is a nice location to spend a night or two, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Rainbow Rapids.       And that's not all you can do here at Bass Lake. Take a side trip to Gilmore Creek. All through the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Bass Lake; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Bass Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Journey's End is a glorious campground here; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for                  you then, we recommend Wisconsin River.
