There's so much to do here at Bass Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Oconton County Park Campground is a splendid spot for that, and Oconto River - North Branch has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by. If you need a place to stay Best Western Lakewood Lodge is a perfect choice. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bass Lake has to offer, you can camp at Evergreen Bay Campground; Pinewood Cottages       is a great spot to get some rest. The yearly rainfall here at Bass Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is September while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Crooked Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Peshtigo River. Summertime highs at Bass Lake generally tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in                  the 50's.
