Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Peshtigo River; enjoy a round of golf at Desmidt's Golf Course & Country Club. During the summer months at Bass Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Bass Lake dipping down into the 0's through       winter nights. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Why not camp at Marty and June Katzka while you're here at Bass Lake, and a splendid close by hotel is Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI. If you came for an overnight stay Timberline Resort and Campground is a nice place to camp, and a pretty lake like Bahlert Lake is a great site to have a look at. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Bass Lake; all through the month                  of September you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
