Bass Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. You could also stop at Dead Mans Lake while you're here at Bass Lake; it's close by, and get wet paddling on Pine River. If you need a spot to stay Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a delightful choice, and Bass Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Golden Eagle Park and Campground is a brilliant local campground.

For the period of the days of summer here at Bass Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's with night lows in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's,
and overnight lows during the winter for Bass Lake tend to be in the-10's. During your journey to Bass Lake you'll meet some folks from Iron Mountain for sure, and there's tremendous hiking along the Lauterman Trail.
