After a long day outdoors Stoughton Inn is a good spot to spend a night or two; do check out Virgin Lake, it's a scenic lake. The amount of rain that falls at Bass Lake is close to the national average; during the month of June you get the most rain around here; January meanwhile is the driest month. Golf can be played at Stoughton Country Club,       and a magnificent close by hotel is Comfort Inn Stoughton. During the warmest time of the year at Bass Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Bass Lake dip into the 0's. Bass Lake truly is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Lake Kegonsa State Park is a glorious campground nearby.                  This lake is so wonderful.
