The yearly precipitation here at Bass Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is June; January is the month with the least moisture. A magnificent nearby hotel is Chose Family Inn; a round of golf at nearby Stoughton Country Club is a great way to kill some time. There are other sites here than Bass Lake, for example Grass Lake; if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Stoughton is       a wonderful choice. Throughout the summer months highs here at Bass Lake get into the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Bass Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Viking Village Campground, and Ice Age National Scenic Trail is one of the destinations that are tremendous to go to close by. You'll need more                  than a day to explore everything Bass Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Kegonsa State Park, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Janesville here.
