Country House Motel is a great spot to get some rest, and you can go for a hike on the Markville Snowmobile Trail. Any time is a great time at Bass Lake if you love the outdoors. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Bass Lake has to offer, you can camp at Anchor Bay Camping and Cabins. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably interested in lakes, Saginaw Lake is one of those nearby; get soaked paddling on St.       Croix River. Bass Lake is a tremendous place to camp, Rosenthal's Resort is a tremendous place, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Upper Tamarack River. After a long day outdoors Best Western American Heritage Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; it's a pleasant idea to explore Totagatic River. Bass Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. Summertime at Bass                  Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, mostly in the 50's.
