Bass Lake is a good place of common rainfall; all through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Good hiking is available along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail, and a lake close by is Clam Lake. A wonderful nearby hotel is Lodge at Crooked Lake; Devils Lake Park Resort is a wonderful       local campground. High temperatures at Bass Lake during the warm months are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's while Bass Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Bass Lake. Go for a hike on the Markville Snowmobile Trail, and there's whitewater on Upper Tamarack River for all you adrenaline people.                  This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a pleasant site to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Lower Tamarack River.
