Go to Bass Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. The amount of precipitation that falls at Bass Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. All through the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 80's at Bass Lake while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Bass Lake. There's whitewater on Upper Tamarack River for all you thrill seekers, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Lower Tamarack River. Not far from Bass Lake, you'll come across Clam Lake which is a stunning lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary | |

State Trail. If you came to camp Winberg's Resort and Campground is a tremendous location to do that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Bass Lake; Markville Snowmobile Trail is a great local trail.
A golf course in the
vicinity of Bass Lake is Fox Run Golf Course, and Lodge at Crooked Lake is a fine place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Bass Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Devils Lake Park
Resort is a nice place for that, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a splendid place to spend a night or two.
