If you need a spot to stay Lodge At Crooked Lake is a wonderful choice, and if you've had enough of Bass Lake, Kreiner Lake is nearby. There is a fine hiking trail close to Bass Lake called the Markville Snowmobile Trail; a good location to camp here at Bass Lake is Stuart's Leisure Acres Resorts. Lodge at Crooked Lake is a great spot to get some rest, and camping is available at Sioux Portage       Campground. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Bass Lake you can play some golf at Yellow Lake Golf Course, and Lower Tamarack River is a splendid whitewater spot close by. At Bass Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 10's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Bass Lake fall into the-10's. So much cool stuff                  to do at Bass Lake, so little time. Near Bass Lake you come across the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Upper Tamarack River.
