There is a magnificent hiking trail in the neighborhood of Bass Lake called the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail, and Lodge at Crooked Lake is a splendid place to get some rest. Yellow Lake Golf Course is a good golf course close by. Summertime brings highs in the       80's to Bass Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's, and night lows in the-10's for Bass Lake. Having a fine time at Bass Lake is uncomplicated. After a long day outdoors Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a good place to spend a night or two, and a delightful lake like Robie Lake is a great spot to go to. From a rainfall point of view Bass Lake is a rather normal site; the                  month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Bass Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Du Four's Pine Tree Campground is a wonderful local campground; you'll come across a stunning lake called Burlingame Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
