CROIX VALLEY is a splendid choice, and a day on the slopes of Wild Mountain is just what you need. Get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater of Kettle River, and unsurprisingly, this is a magnificent vicinity for people who like lakes, Isaac Lake is a lake nearby. Bass Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, James N Mcnally Campground is a magnificent local campground;       if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail. The skiing at Trollhaugen is pleasant, and if you came to camp Birchwood Beach Campgrounds is a great place to do that. Bass Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. For the period of the summertime, highs mostly are in the 80's at Bass Lake, and all through the night it cools down                  to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's with temperatures at Bass Lake dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend St. Croix River, and after a long day outdoors Luck Country Inn is a good site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Bass Lake you can take a hike along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. Lakes are brilliant; Big Trade Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Bass Lake. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading.
