This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the North Country Trail; get wet paddling on Marengo River. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is abundant here in the Gogebic Range. If you need a place to stay Ashland Super 8 Motel is a delightful choice; whitewater paddling is delightful on Marengo River. If you came for an overnight stay Boulder Lodge Resort is a tremendous place to camp, and Club Lake is a good lake nearby.       The Gogebic Range scenery is always beautiful. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Bass Lake. Why not camp at Lake Namakagon Campgrounds since you're here at Bass Lake; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Virgin Pine Trail. Hiking along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail is wonderful fun, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Holiday House. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just                  come on up to the Gogebic Range. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Bass Lake; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. High temperatures at Bass Lake through the summertime are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's.
