If you are in Bayfield county it's always a good idea to stop by Bass Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Birch Grove Campground is a nice place to camp, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Camp Eleven Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Rustic Roost Motel Dining is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and playing golf is lots of fun at Northern Pines Golf Course. the one with the most rain while February is typically the driest month. Dahl Creek is a splendid local stream; why not camp at Copper Range Campground if you're here at Bass Lake. A good site for whitewater paddling next to Bass Lake is Bois Brule River; while you're here you can take a hike along the Pigeon Lake Trail.
