This lake is so wonderful. Bass Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail, and Perch Lake Campground is a good campground nearby. For you golfers we recommend       close by Tahkodah Hills Golf Course; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Hayward. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Bass Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Two Lakes Campground is a glorious place to camp, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel Hayward Wisconsin is a brilliant choice. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Chippewa River - West Fork. Lakes are great; Lake Owen is a lake                  that's right next door to Bass Lake.
