The amount of precipitation that falls at Bass Lake is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bass Lake has to offer, you can camp at Shady Rest Campground, and why not visit Stouts Point also since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Hardwood Trail is always a nice adventure,       and Balsam Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Take a little spree to Pigeon Creek since you're here at Bass Lake; the snow is magnificent at Christie Mountain. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area close to Bass Lake has to offer. There's so much to do here at Bass Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shinako Camping Resort is a brilliant place for that, and if you need a place to stay Microtel Rice Lake                  is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Summer at Bass Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Bass Lake are in the-10's. There are good spots to discover along the Serley Camp Trail; soar down the rapids of Namekagon River in a kayak.
