From a rain point of view Bass Lake is a rather common spot; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Brunsweiler River; Wildwood Haven Resort and Campground is a great local campground. Bass Lake is a beautiful lake in the Gogebic Range. So much entertaining stuff to do in       the Gogebic Range, not enough time. Lakes are wonderful; 0.23 Reservoir is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Bass Lake, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Gogebic Range. After a long day outdoors Americinn - Ashland, Wi is a magnificent site to spend a night or two; you're almost certainly into lakes, 0.2 Reservoir is one of those close by. This site is                  excellent, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the neighborhood of Bass Lake. If you need a site to stay Ashland Super 8 Motel is a great choice; Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is a magnificent site close by. High temperatures at Bass Lake throughout the long summer days are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Bass Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
