That right there is heaps already, but it keeps on going; Bass Lake has it all. Good hiking is available along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. Throughout the long summer days, highs typically are in the 80's at Bass Lake while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. During the winter highs are generally in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter       at Bass Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Gogebic Range. There are some great whitewater spots on Brunsweiler River; you can stay the night at Day Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a tour to Apostle Islands National Lakeshore since you're here at Bass Lake; if you need a spot to stay Ashland Super 8 Motel is a perfect choice. Near Bass Lake you discover a golf course                  called Mellen Country Club. There's so much to do here at Bass Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Memorial Campground is a perfect place for that.
