In Wisconsin there are many beautiful lakes, Barrel Spring Lake is one of them. After a long day outdoors Americinn Motel is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Big Powderhorn Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Barrel Spring Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

| | you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Lake Barbara, and great skiing awaits you at Blackjack. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Gogebic Range. Bluffs Inn is a fine location to get some rest, and hiking along the Rainbow Falls Trail is delightful fun. So many entertaining things in the Gogebic Range, just tremendous. Big 6 RV Resort and Campground is a fine local campground.
Having a good time at Barrel Spring Lake is simple. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Black River; Barrel Spring Lake is right by the Newman Springs Ski Trail.
Wabasso Lake Campground is a magnificent campground here, and if you come at the right time of year, Turtle River offers some great whitewater. All through the warm days of summer at Barrel Spring Lake highs are typically in the 70's.
Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Barrel Spring Lake are in the-10's.
