If you need a spot to stay Luck Country Inn is a good choice, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Croix River. | | you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Little Round Lake is just a very short distance away. If you came to camp Schillberg's Campgrounds is a magnificent site to do that, and if you've had enough of Barneys Lake, Poplar Lake is close by.
Barneys Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls during June, and February is when it's the driest. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. What would winter be without some | |

skiing at Wild Mountain, and a golf course close by is St Croix Valley Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful.
There's so much to do here at Barneys Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wildwood Park Campgrounds is a glorious
place for that, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Apple River. Throughout the summer months at Barneys Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Barneys Lake.
