Lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop at Tars Pond near Barnes Lake, and Super 8 Motel Hayward Wisconsin is a nice location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful location to camp here at Barnes Lake is Nelson Lake Lodge; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Hayward. Some of the       water nearby flows, like Tars Creek; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Bois Brule River. Barnes Lake is right by the Virgin Pine Trail. Barnes Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. The Pigeon Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and Connor Lake is a brilliant lake nearby. The amount of rainfall that falls at Barnes Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of                  the rain is August; the driest month of the year is February. During the warm months, highs usually are in the 80's at Barnes Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.
