Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Barlow Lake. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Menominee River. Summertime at Barlow Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Barlow Lake. This lake is so       wonderful. Paddling on Pemebonwon - North Branch is so much fun, and a day on the slopes of Norway Mountain is just what you need. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Inns Iron Mountain is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Barlow Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rivers Bend Campground. Barlow Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; September is when you get the most rain here, and February                  on the other hand is the driest. Iron Mountain-Days Inn is a great place to get some rest, and a round of golf at nearby Timberstone Golf Course is a magnificent way to kill some time.
