Getting to Boyd Creek from Barker Lake is simple, and you can stay the night at Black Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Barker Lake has to offer, you can camp at Boulder Lodge Resort, and there are great places to explore along the Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail. High temperatures at Barker Lake all through the warm months are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.

Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail
 | 1 PHOTO The trail is called the Tuscobia State Trail. It runs 74 miles from Rice Lake to Park Falls, Wisconsin. The Trail crosses through Barron, Sawyer and Price Counties. This is a multi-use trail on the old railroad grade of the Omaha Railroad. There are lots of things to do and places to stop along the trail. There is now camping available at several points along the trail including Radisson, and Ojibwa. At Winter, the last remaining railroad depot, built in 1905, will be historically restored outside and inside, it will house a visitor center, there will be trailhead parking, historical displays, and picnic areas.
