Do stop by Lake Barbara while you're in this part of Wisconsin. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Lake Barbara, for example Barrel Spring Lake; magnificent skiing awaits you at Blackjack. Good hiking is available along the Newman Springs Ski Trail, and an afternoon playing golf at Tahoe Lynx Golf Course is always a bliss.
So many enjoyable things to do here in the Gogebic Range, too magnificent to be true. You can run the rapids of Turtle

| | River near Lake Barbara. There's so much to do here at Lake Barbara that you need to camp here for a while, Big 6 RV Resort and Campground is a nice spot for that. All year is a tremendous time in the Gogebic Range if you like the outdoors. If you came to camp Wabasso Lake Campground is a pleasant spot to do that, and after a long day outdoors Bluffs Inn is a delightful location to spend a night or two. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Lake Barbara while night lows are usually in the 50's. During the winter the highs are regularly
in the 10's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Barbara temperatures descend to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Evelyn Creek; you can never get enough of the glorious skiing
at Big Powderhorn Mountain. Any time is a glorious time at Lake Barbara if you fancy the outdoors. Black River is a brilliant whitewater spot next to Lake Barbara, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn Motel.
