In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ontonagon River, and a short visit to Presque Springs is always worthwhile. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do near Bambi Lake. Camping is available at Pomeroy Lake Campground, obviously you could also go to Big Gibson       Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Bambi Lake gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here; February meanwhile is the driest month. At Bambi Lake through the summer months highs are in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Bambi Lake. Whitewater paddling is glorious                  on Presque Isle. Camping at Moosehead Lake Campground is always a splendid experience, and a lake nearby is High Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
