Camping is available at Anvil Lake Campground, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Anvil Lake Trail System. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Settle Inn & Stes Eagle River is a fine site to spend a night or two; if you're a golfer then a good close by course is Big Sand Lake Golf Course. You absolutely must like Baker Lake. Camping at Chain O'lakes Resort       Park is always a splendid experience, and possibly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Camp One Lake is just a very short distance away. On a good day at Baker Lake you can take a hike along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail; Wild Eagle Lodge is a delightful place to get some rest. Float down the rapids of Ontonagon River - Middle Branch in a kayak. At Baker Lake through the summer highs are in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.                  Through the winter highs are generally in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Baker Lake are in the 0's. Baker Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August while February is commonly the driest month.
