North Fork Clam River is a nice local stream, and if you need a spot to stay Lodge at Crooked Lake is a brilliant choice. After a long day outdoors Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a splendid place to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here       at Baker Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Clam Lake Resort and Campgrounds is a delightful site for that. Baker Lake gets a normal amount of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All through the summer months at Baker Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are mostly in the 10's; overnight lows                  in the-10's for Baker Lake. A lake close by is 0.4 Reservoir, and there's whitewater on Lower Tamarack River for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful.
