A visit to Baker Lake is always a good idea. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in close proximity to Baker Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Wolf River offers some fine whitewater; going for a hike on the Eds Lake Trail System is always a good adventure. From a rain point of view Baker Lake is a rather typical place; the month with most of the rain is September while February is commonly the driest month. If you came to camp Jesse's wolf River Lodge is a nice site to do that, and don't leave Baker Lake without first going for a hike along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail. and there are good places to discover along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Baker Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rolling Stone Lake Resort is a tremendous location for that, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites is a tremendous choice.
