Go for a hike on the Eds Lake Trail System. Lakes are tremendous; Spring Lake is a lake that's right next door to Baker Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Rolling Stone Lake Resort is a good location to do that, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Crandon       Inn & Suites is a pleasant choice. During the days of summer here at Baker Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Baker Lake tend to be in the-10's. Baker Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Jesse's wolf River Lodge is a great local campground, and magnificent hiking is available along                  the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail. From a rainfall point of view Baker Lake is a reasonably normal spot; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest of the months is February. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area right next door to Baker Lake has to offer.
