Super 8 Motel - Chetek is a great location to get some rest; paddling on Duncan Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Hickory Ridge Trail; why not camp at Loon Lake Camp Grounds since you're here at Axhandle Lake. After a long day outdoors Glen Loch Motel is a great place to spend a night or two, and get drenched paddling on Chippewa River. An       average amount of rain falls at Axhandle Lake; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Have a great hiking adventure along the Deer Fly Trail, and if you're visiting from Eau Claire, you won't be the only one. Throughout the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Axhandle Lake, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, commonly in the 50's.
