There's so much to do here at Avoca Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Alana Springs Lodge and Campground is a great place for that. This lake is so wonderful. You'll discover a beautiful lake called .37 Reservoir near Avoca Lake, and don't       forget to take a great little visit to Pine River. Stay the night at Flying J Campgrounds, and a good nearby hotel is Ramada Richland Center. Onion Hollow is a pleasant place to look at, and after a long day outdoors Don Q Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two. All through the summertime months here at Avoca Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter brings highs                  down to the 20's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Avoca Lake temperatures descend to the 0's.
