Beautiful Augustine Lake has much to offer visitors. It's a good idea to stop by Augustine Creek, it's close to Augustine Lake, and camping at Lake Three - Chequamegon National Forest is always a wonderful experience. But wait, there's more to do near Augustine Lake. After a long day outdoors Hurley Days Inn is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. High temperatures at Augustine Lake through the summertime are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. Man, is there a lot of cool stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. Park Falls Super 8 Motel is a great spot to get some rest; perfect skiing awaits you at Whitecap Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Augustine
Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Butternut Lake Campground is a splendid local campground, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Potato River.
