This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, MacDonald Lake is close at hand; the Hardwood Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby. Throughout the summer months here at Atwood Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are typically in the 20's; winter nights come with       lows in the-10's to Atwood Lake. There's so much to do here at Atwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lured In Lodge & Campground is a glorious place for that, and get drenched paddling on Chippewa River. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Duncan Creek, and since you're here you can take a hike along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail. On a nice day at Atwood Lake you can take a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Glen                  Loch Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Atwood Lake you'll in all probability meet some people from Eau Claire. Atwood Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. So many exciting things to do at Atwood Lake, so little time.
