Camping is available at Sevenmile Lake Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Anvil Lake; Kimball Creek Trail is a magnificent local trail. Summertime highs at Anvil Lake usually tend to be in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 10's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Anvil Lake. You'll       hit upon a pretty lake called Echo Lake near Anvil Lake; camping at Anvil Lake Campground is always a splendid experience. Wild Eagle Lodge is a great place to get some rest, and don't leave Anvil Lake without first going for a hike along the Anvil Lake Trail System. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Upper Nunemile Lake near Anvil Lake is a good place to visit, and perfect hiking is available along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail. I can't                  stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Anvil Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Settle Inn & Stes Eagle River.
