After a long day outdoors Tamarack Timbers Cottages is a great place to spend a night or two, and there's whitewater on Ontonagon River - Middle Branch for all you adrenaline junkies. Anderson Lake gets a typical amount of rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Through the days of summer at Anderson Lake highs are usually in the 70's,       and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 10's, and night lows at Anderson Lake throughout the winter ordinarily plunge into the-10's. Camping at Anderson Lake is delightful fun, North Shore Campgrounds is a delightful local campground, and tremendous hiking is available along the Alligator Eye Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
