There is a perfect hiking trail close to Anderson Lake called the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail. If you need a place to stay Best Western Lakewood Lodge is a great choice; not far from Anderson Lake you'll hit upon Chute Pond which is a charming lake. Stay the night at Evergreen Bay Campground; get covered with water paddling on Oconto River - North Branch. This       lake is so wonderful. Pinewood Cottages is a great site to get some rest; do stop at Hines Creek while you're here at Anderson Lake. The amount of rain that falls at Anderson Lake is close to the national average; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. On a fine day at Anderson Lake you can take a hike along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail. There's so much to do here at Anderson Lake that you need to camp here                  for a while, Oconton County Park Campground is a perfect spot for that. At Anderson Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's.
