Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Anient Lake; whitewater paddling is nice on Prairie River. After a long day outdoors Pine Ridge Inn is a perfect location to spend a night or two, and Anderson Lake is a great spot to camp, Birkensee Resort is a great spot. You absolutely have to like Anderson Lake. Camping at Anderson Lake is fine fun, Council Grounds State Park is       a fine local campground. High temperatures at Anderson Lake throughout the summertime months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's; through the dark hours in the winter at Anderson Lake temperatures sink to the-10's. An average amount of rainfall falls at Anderson Lake; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Gotta                  ski! Granite Peak is a brilliant place to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Merrill, Wi. This lake is so wonderful.
