Amey Pond is Skillet Creek; a lovely lake like Mason Lake 37 is a delightful location to check out. Getting to Big Spring Creek from Amey Pond is trouble-free, and get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Baraboo River.
Going for a hike on the East Bluff Woods Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and do schedule some time to explore Burns Cove if you have a chance. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Wagon wheel Campground, and why
not camp at Lake Mason Campground while you're here at Amey Pond.
