For the duration of the months of summer here at Altoona Lake 883, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Altoona Lake 883 sink into the 0's. Altoona       Lake 883 gets a normal amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; the driest month is February. GrandStay Residential Suites Eau Claire is a great spot to get some rest, and drift down the rapids of Duncan Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If you're going to Altoona Lake 883 from Eau Claire, you won't be the only one, and time spent at Half Moon Beach is always delightful. Going for a hike on the Hay Meadow Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably addicted to lakes, Altoona Lake is one of those nearby; close by you find the Hickory Ridge Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. This place is great, just explore all the exciting things to do right next door to Altoona Lake 883. Get drenched paddling on Chippewa River, and if you're a golfer then a great close by course is Eau Claire Golf & Country Club. There's so much to do here at Altoona Lake 883 that you need to camp here for a while, Elmer's Campgrounds is a great place for that.
