August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. Hiking along the Newman Springs Ski Trail is wonderful fun, and why not take a little trip to Drinkwine Creek if you're here. This lake
is so wonderful. A fine place to camp here at Altman Lake is Double E Resort, and while you're here, you could also stop at pretty Second Black Lake.
