From a rain point of view Allen Lake is a rather common place; most of the rain falls during September, and the driest month of the year is February. A wonderful nearby hotel is Americinn - Merrill, Wi. This       lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Pine Ridge Inn is a nice choice; you can stay the night at Birkensee Resort. For the duration of the months of summer here at Allen Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Allen Lake sink into the-10's. Whitewater paddling is good on Prairie                  River; you'll stumble on a gorgeous lake called Luecks Lake. While you're here at Allen Lake, you could also pop by delightful Wedlers Pond.
