Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Alexander Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 10's, and overnight lows at Alexander Lake through the winter generally descend into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Merrill Public Golf Club. Copper River flows through       this area; camping at Council Grounds State Park is always a nice experience. This lake is so wonderful. The wonderful people of Merrill like to hang out close by, and a splendid place to camp here at Alexander Lake is Rib Mountain State Park. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in close proximity to Alexander Lake. A great nearby hotel is Americinn - Merrill, Wi, and you'll find a gorgeous lake called Ward Mill Pond.
