Alex Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Alex Pond. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's while Alex Pond overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. There's so much to do here at Alex Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Big Bay State Park is a perfect spot for that, and a tremendous spot for whitewater paddling

you can camp at Waverly Campground, and don't forget to take a nice little trip to West Branch Denomie Creek.
