Alabama Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend St. Croix River. There's so much to do here at Alabama Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Birchwood Beach Campgrounds is a great spot for that. For the duration of the long summer days, highs usually are in the 80's at Alabama Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's.

| | For the duration of the winter highs are in the 10's with temperatures at Alabama Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Saint Croix National Scenic River is a tremendous national park, and a wonderful close by hotel is Luck Country Inn. Very pretty scenery and splendid skiing is what you get at Trollhaugen, and the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail offers hiking at its best. Alabama Lake is wonderful enough | |

to spend more than a day at, James N Mcnally Campground is a wonderful local campground, and Gabrielson Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. From a rainfall point of view Alabama Lake is a reasonably normal spot; June is the
wettest month with most rain; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Butternut Creek flows through this vicinity, and Wannigan Point is a delightful place to get some rest. If only every spot had this much
outdoors amusing things, what a great world it would be. What would winter be without some skiing at Wild Mountain; there's tremendous hiking along the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail.
