Afterglow Lake is a lake worth visiting. Take a hike on the Kimball Creek Trail; get wet paddling on Ontonagon River - Middle Branch. From a rain point of view Afterglow Lake is a relatively typical site; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Brule Mountain has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood

| | you can always check out nearby Noseeum Lake. Summertime highs at Afterglow Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 10's; night lows at Afterglow Lake during the winter typically sink into the 0's. Maple Lake is a lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Wild Eagle Lodge is a glorious choice, and Military Hill is a peak you can distinguish from Afterglow Lake. You'll need more than a day to look
at everything Afterglow Lake has to offer, you can camp at Spectacle Lake Campground; some close by water includes Lobischer Creek. Just can't get enough of Afterglow Lake. Slaughter Bay is in the neighborhood and always perfect to
explore; why not take a refreshing hike along the Anvil Lake Trail System. Afterglow Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Lac Vieux Desert Campground is a good place to camp nearby. Hiking is a popular thing to
do around Afterglow Lake; Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail is a fine local trail, and a good nearby hotel is Settle Inn & Stes Eagle River.
