Camping at Birkensee Resort is always a magnificent experience, and Pine River is a glorious whitewater spot       nearby. Ackerman Lake is a good location of common rainfall; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Council Grounds State Park is a brilliant spot to do that, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Prairie River. This place rocks, just look at all the cool stuff to do near Ackerman Lake. Anient Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. There are                  plenty of people from Merrill here at Ackerman Lake, and Pine Ridge Inn is a fine location to get some rest.
