Throughout the months of summer at Abel Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. During the winter highs are usually in the 10's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Abel Lake descend into the-10's. The amount of rainfall that falls at Abel Lake is close to the national average; all through the month of August you get       the most rain around here; February is the month with the least moisture. Do stop by Beaver Lake near Abel Lake, it's a lovely lake; if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Merrill. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Abel Lake is great fun, West Bay Camping Resort is a great local campground, and Super 8 Motel - Rhinelander is a great site to get some rest. After a long day outdoors Americinn Rhinelander is a wonderful place to spend a night                  or two.
